Arc has a wide range of clients including private individuals and companies, public bodies including local and national government and non-governmental organisations, third sector organisations, and community organisations of diverse types.
Partnerships
We often work in partnership, with communities, other consultants, Universities, industry bodies, contractors, and third sector organisations. These are usually long-standing relationships but we welcome new opportunities. We have close working relationships with the charity Earth Building UK & Ireland and specialist company Rebearth.
Research
Arc sometimes instigates and leads its research projects, but usually these are directly commissioned by clients relating to our areas of expertise, or come through our cross-sector partnerships as part of strategic funding bids for research. We welcome new enquiries about potential research projects and can act as lead partner to bring together teams.
Feasibility Studies
We often undertake feasibility studies and options appraisals to test and develop the viability of potential projects. This can include detailed condition reports on existing buildings, the development of options for different uses and activities, market research and business planning, stakeholder consultation, community engagement and grant applications.
Domestic Clients
We welcome enquires for new homes. It helps if you have a site, but we can advise you on options if you are still looking. We follow a staged process of developing your brief, producing sketch design options and indicative costing, before progressing to Planning applications, Building Warrant, and then usually oversee the tendering and construction process. Guidance on working with Architects can be found at RIAS.
